Speech Connect is a brand rooted in connection — both in meaning and in process.
Working closely alongside Andrea, I supported the development of the company name, helping define something that captured the essence of the business from the outset. This early strategic work led naturally into brand positioning, mission, and values — shaping not just how Speech Connect looks, but how it feels.
Connection quickly became the foundation of the identity.
The logo was designed to reflect the collaborative approach Speech Connect champions — bringing together therapist, families, schools, and wider support networks to nurture a child’s communication development. The visual mark symbolises partnership, progress, and the belief that meaningful outcomes are built collectively.
The brand needed to balance professionalism with warmth.
The colour palette was carefully selected to create a sense of reassurance, optimism, and approachability — moving away from anything overly clinical. Soft, confident tones position Speech Connect as both trusted and genuinely supportive, reinforcing the confidence-building ethos at the heart of the practice.

The website became a central expression of the brand, designed to feel clear, welcoming, and easy to navigate. Accessibility, tone, and emotional experience were key considerations — ensuring parents, educators, and caregivers immediately felt supported and understood.
